Throw a party with an artistic and affirming way – create an altered book event, one that promotes the transformation of stereotypical roles of women into empowered roles. Choose books that show oppression of women or depict relationships of women in dependent and un-empowered roles and transform them through creative alterations into personal themes on healthy and affirming relationships. Utilize this theme of transforming disempowering messages into empowering messages as a means to educate attendees into reclaiming power in their life.
